The role
We are seeking a skilled Python Flask developer to join our team on a short-term contract basis to assist with replacing a Legacy image asset management tool with a SaaS solution such as Cloudinary or equivalent. This project involves migrating existing assets to the new tool and integrating it seamlessly into our mature Flask application.

Responsibilities
. Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and scope of the project.
. Replace the existing image asset management tool with a SaaS solution like Cloudinary or equivalent.
. Migrate existing image assets to the new tool while ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to the application.
. Ensure smooth integration of the new tool into the Flask application, including any necessary adjustments to existing codebase.
. Work closely with the team to troubleshoot any issues or bugs that arise during the migration process.
. Provide regular updates on progress and participate in daily catch-up meetings. Skill set
. Solid experience with Python Flask development.
. Proficiency in Bash Scripting for automation tasks.
. Familiarity with AWS services, particularly EC2, for configuration and deployment purposes.
. Experience with MongoDB or similar databases for managing image metadata.
. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
