To lead and implement department reporting solutions for resource planning and analysis of department scorecard metrics. Analyzes data and leads efforts to implement process enhancements that improve operational efficiency for the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops robust project management system-based reporting solutions for ad-hoc and/or repeating requests. Completes analysis of the information and makes data driven recommendations to support department management and leadership including ongoing projects, staffing model, and annual planning.
  • Monitors, forecasts and analyzes department-wide resource demands. Partners with management to provide timely, data-driven staffing recommendations, using sophisticated statistical methods to ensure the department can accommodate the project demand and facilitates prioritization of projects when necessary.
  • Serves as technical system expert for project management system and primary relationship manager with the vendor for any system updates or enhancements. Establishes good working relationships with system users across the organization.
  • Independently or collaboratively builds or enhances department system workflows including documenting requirements, designing, testing, and elevating enhanced workflows to the production environment.
  • Creates and maintains effective channels and mechanisms for reporting, including but not limited to standardized reports, department dashboards, scorecards, and Powerpoint presentations, to enable department decision making on resource capacity and utilization.
  • Works with peers to develop reporting solutions of moderate to high complexity to meet department metrics, reporting, workflow, and automation needs in accordance with development standards. Develops an in-depth understanding of various demand channels and partner needs.
  • Provides management with regular updates on the progress of projects and capacity projections. Creates and delivers presentations on the status of the operation as needed. Lead the meetings for cross-departmental project team members.
  • Engages with other technical system experts across the organization to maintain a best in class data collection plan with monitors and controls to sustain accurate and reliable data throughout the system.
  • Seeks out opportunities to improve business analytic capabilities to inform continuous improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing reports in financial services and IIG preferred .
  • Proficient knowledge of Sharepoint and the ability to update and upload information.
  • Advanced knowledge of current versions of the Microsoft Office Suite including VBA and Excel.
  • Experience using one or more of the following data sources: MINITAB, Cognos 8, Tableau.
  • Strong, demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail, while managing multiple tasks.
